How long will it take to learn Kung fu?

On average, it takes 4 years to learn Kung fu. Any earlier than that won’t be enough time to master the techniques. Yet, different people learn at different paces. As a result, there’s no rule of thumb as to how much time it’ll take to learn it.
Usually, a range of 2-5 years is enough to master most martial arts. At first, you won’t notice any results. However, you’ll become better the more effort and time you invest in it.
Additionally, expecting results in the beginning; won’t be of help to you. Because of that, you must stay patient. As a result, you’ll stay consistent and progress faster. I like calling the first phase the ghost town. You invest plenty of effort, yet with no results.
The first results and benefits you’ll experience will begin showing up after a month. Usually, that’s an appropriate time to learn the basic techniques. Thus don’t expect to gain any results earlier than that.
